It was at the age of 12 that Pierre was hooked on funk music. Just back from a trip to New York, his older brother brought back a cassette of the famous band Kool & the Gang and that was the beginning of a taste for this kind of music. What Pierre likes about the music of the 70s and 80s is the danceable and festive rhythm, combined with messages of love. What he loves about Djing is the mix of sounds and lyrics in the transition of music, which for him is like creating a mini song within the ones played. In his funky set, Dj Mp Free will go through the great classics, incorporating rare gems and more contemporary music that keeps the same spirit. Its 6-hour mix has a nice surprise in store for those who stay until the end!
