LES RENDEZ-VOUS TRAD

Immerse yourself in the warm and festive atmosphere of the Rendez-vous trad! These traditional dance evenings are led by a group of talented musicians and an experienced caller who will guide you through the different dances. Bring your instrument and your dancing shoes, and come share your passion for music and dance in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Join Alice Bérubé, fiddler and traditional French-Canadian musician, for this jam of trad music and dance. “My fiddle is inspired by traditional French-Canadian music: Métis, Quebecois, Acadian. Over the years, I’ve played for the Ensemble Folklorique de la Rivière-Rouge, Bandaline, Angèle Arsenault and many dance parties. I’ve recorded albums with Bandaline and it’s my fiddle that can be heard in the soundtrack playing in the Hudson’s Bay Gallery at the Manitoba Museum. I love playing for dancers!”
